Learn how to work with the CommCell Console for advanced configuration. This course starts with deployment and progresses through storage, storage policies, and monitoring to protect data in virtual and physical infrastructures.
This course provides all the information about the Commvault environment and includes a hands-on virtual lab and certification exam.
Required knowledge
It is highly recommended that you complete the Professional Foundations course before registering for this course. To achieve Commvault Professional Certification you must pass the Professional Foundations and Professional Advanced exams.

This course is aimed at users who manage their Commvault environment using the CommCell console.
Course content
Module 1 – Deployment
This module provides an introduction to the CommCell Console and provides guidance for planning, installation, and data encryption.
Module 2 – Advanced Storage Configuration
This module addresses the advanced storage configuration options for disk and tape,and provides best practice recommendations for deduplication.
Module 3 – Storage Policies
This module addresses the configuration and management of storage policies, including streams, auxiliary copies, and storage policy tasks.
Module 4 –Advanced Monitoring
This module addresses the CommCell Console tools, alerts, and reports that are available for monitoring your Commvault environment.
Exam
The Commvault Professional Advanced exam validates the skills required to deploy and configure advanced options in a CommCell environment using the CommCell Console and is aligned to the Commvault Professional Advanced course.
Certification
The Commvault Professional Advanced exam validates the skills required to deploy and configure advanced options in a CommCell environment using the CommCell Console and is aligned to the Commvault Professional Advanced course.
