Course description

During the course, participants will learn to create a Kubernetes resource, configure an ingress router, and use the Source-to-image process to create containers. The course is ideal for anyone who wants to learn the basics of OpenShift and Kubernetes and deploy their applications to containers in a modern environment.

Required knowledge

Basic knowledge of Linux is recommended for participation in the Introduction to OpenShift course. Furthermore, participants should have basic knowledge in programming and deploying applications. However, even if this knowledge is not at a professional level, the course is designed to be completed by participants with different levels of knowledge. The course will work with real situations and will provide sufficient support in solving practical tasks.

To everyone who wants to get a basic idea of ​​what OpenShift is and who wants to learn the basics of working with OpenShift.

Objectives

The aim of the course is to teach the participants the basics of OpenShift and Kubernetes, familiarize them with the architecture and infrastructure of these tools and teach them to create a Kubernetes resource, configure an ingress router and use the Source-to-image process for creating containers. After completing the course, participants will be able to work with OpenShift and Kubernetes and deploy their applications to containers.
