Course description

The course includes theoretical foundations as well as practical exercises that will enable participants to acquire the practical skills needed to work with videos.Samples will be presented in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere. Are you using a different tool? Let us know.

Course content

  • Familiarization with various software for computer and mobile phone
  • Knowledge of video types and their purpose
  • Presentation of effective tools, techniques and procedures in the given software
  • Practical demonstrations and video editing exercises
  • Ability to create videos for various purposes - social networks, web, presentations, YouTube
  • Knowledge of sound, image, text and effects editing
  • Samples and export options

Materials

Participants will be provided with videos on which they can practically try everything. They can also try out the techniques directly on their videos. We will work in the aforementioned DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere.

Objectives

  • learn basic and advanced video editing techniques
  • acquire skills for adding and synchronizing subtitles to videos
  • learn how to apply various effects, transitions and animations to videos
  • learn the basics of working with sound in videos, including recording, editing and synchronizing sound with images
  • realize own projects that include complete video production from start to finish, including subtitles
